I’m Katie, and I started Conwell Creative with a simple belief: churches and nonprofits shouldn’t have to struggle with technology in order to do meaningful work.
Too many organizations doing life-changing work are weighed down by outdated websites, scattered systems, inconsistent branding, and tools no one has time to manage. I’ve seen how much energy gets lost trying to “keep up” instead of moving forward.
Conwell Creative exists to change that.
I’ve spent years working closely in church leadership as a youth pastor’s wife, where I was heavily involved in communication, organizational leadership, and supporting ministry operations behind the scenes. From there, I moved into nonprofit marketing and fundraising, helping organizations strengthen their outreach and development efforts. Today, I also serve on the board of a local nonprofit sports organization in my community, continuing my commitment to mission-driven work.
Over time, I kept seeing the same pattern:
the mission is strong, but the systems aren’t.
And when systems break down, people feel it everywhere—staff burnout, missed opportunities, unclear communication, and unnecessary stress.
I started Conwell Creative to step into that gap.
Not just to design better websites—but to help build the infrastructure that allows good work to actually flow.
I care deeply about clarity.
Clear communication.
Clear systems.
Clear next steps for the people you’re trying to reach.
Because when things are clear, organizations stop feeling chaotic—and start feeling supported.
My role is to come alongside teams and help them simplify, organize, and modernize the way they show up digitally so they can focus on the work that matters most: people.
When you work with Conwell Creative, you’re not just hiring a designer or developer.
You’re gaining a partner who understands how churches and nonprofits actually operate—busy teams, limited time, big responsibility, and a whole lot of moving parts.
I take the time to understand your mission first, then build solutions that actually fit how your organization works in real life—not just how it looks on a website.
I believe good work should feel peaceful, not overwhelming… even though I currently live in a house where “peaceful” is more of a concept than a reality.
I have three kids (four if you count my husband... and I do)—Addie, Emmy, and Miles—who keep life loud, funny, and slightly unhinged in the best way. We spend a lot of time at softball fields, in the car blasting music way too loud, and having deep philosophical conversations like “why does the snack cabinet always look empty five minutes after I shop?”
And honestly, I love it. It keeps me grounded, keeps me laughing, and makes sure I never take myself too seriously (which is important, because I would absolutely start trying if they didn’t stop me).
If you’re here, you’re probably building something that matters.
I’d love to help you build the systems that support it.
